1. ABOUT HOUSE OF BOOKS
House of Books is a premium curated bookstore selling physical book collections. We handpick, package, and ship physical books directly to readers worldwide. All products sold through our store are tangible physical goods. There are no hidden subscriptions or recurring charges.
2. ORDERS & PAYMENT
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
- The payment information you provide is accurate and authorised
- You are legally permitted to enter into this agreement
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example if we suspect fraud, if a product is out of stock, or if a pricing error has occurred. In such cases, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
All transactions are processed securely via Shopify Payments and are encrypted via SSL. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
3. PRICING & PROMOTIONS
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Bundle deals, launch offers, and discount codes are valid for a limited time and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
The "Was" price shown on product pages reflects the original full retail price or the combined individual retail price of the books in a collection before bundling.
4. SHIPPING
We aim to ship all orders within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Estimated delivery times:
- United Kingdom: 3–5 business days
- Europe: 5–10 business days
- United States & Canada: 7–14 business days
- Rest of World: 10–21 business days
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Tracking information is sent by email once your order ships.
